In 2021 and 2022 the ratio of national and international prductions was balanced. Most recently, national productions dominated the German single charts with a share of 57.6 %.
According to the German Music Industry Association (Bundesverband Musikindustrie), the share of German single productions in the TOP 100 charts was 57.6 % in 2023. International productions thus made it into the German singles charts less often than national productions.
